Using RORY

RORY is meant to help readers track books, log progress, save reflections, and discover new titles. Please use the app respectfully and avoid misuse, abuse, or attempts to interfere with the service.

You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for the activity that happens through your account.

Your content

You remain responsible for the notes, ratings, and reading activity you choose to save in RORY. Please avoid uploading or submitting anything you do not have the right to use.

You keep ownership of the content you add to RORY. You allow RORY to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service to you.

Book data and third-party sources

RORY may show book covers, descriptions, identifiers, author names, publisher details, and other metadata from RORY's catalog or third-party book data providers. Book metadata can be incomplete or incorrect, and RORY may update or correct it over time.

Acceptable use

Do not use RORY to violate the law, harass others, upload harmful code, attempt to access another person's account, scrape or overload the service, interfere with security, or misuse RORY's systems, data, or communications.

Availability

RORY is still evolving. Features, pages, and integrations may change over time, and the service may occasionally be updated, interrupted, or refined.

RORY is provided as-is and is not a guarantee that book metadata, reading statistics, reminders, imports, or availability information will always be complete or error-free.

Account changes and termination

You may stop using RORY at any time. RORY may limit or suspend access if an account is used in a way that harms the service, violates these terms, or creates security or abuse concerns.

RORY's Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, and deleted. Please review the Privacy Policy before using RORY.

Changes to these terms

RORY may update these terms as the product, service, legal requirements, or App Store requirements change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
